It's FINALLY here!!
Josh and I have been waiting SO long to tell you all the exciting news: Our home has been renovated by local Kansas City designer Tamara Day of Tamara Day Designs, and featured on Magnolia Network's hit-show Bargain Mansions, airing Tuesday, June 6th!

HOW IT STARTED
Our home was built in 2005 and is situated on a nice, quiet circle street near a golf course in Kansas City. We do love it!
What we didn't love as much was the overwhelming 2000s popular Tuscan motif, and how every... single... surface in the home was some shade of brown, both inside and out.
THE DESIGN PROCESS

THE DEMO
Construction work began on the house and the biggest changes took place outdoors with the fire and water features plus additional two grilling stations, then removing the wall and extra fireplace between the living and family room, plus totally transforming the layout in the kitchen so that we could highlight our beautiful LED Lighted White Oak Floating Shelving that we make at our J Thomas Home woodshop!
We also updated the main bedroom and bathroom with some deep, rich greens and blues, tons of tile, and even a cold plunge tub! But here's a peek before it was beautiful!
THE REVEAL
After 10 weeks, we finally got to see how all of the spaces came together in our truly unique design. Which room is your favorite??
